  The Panasonic KX-NT700 IP conference phone is an odd looking thing. Granted, looks aren?t everything but we can?t help thinking it looks like a set of bathroom scales. Officially launch at the end of 2008, the KX-NT700 isn?t planned for the UK market until early-ish 2009.
  
  With more businesses cutting travelling expenditure, conference phones are becoming a necessity rather than a luxury. For the cost of one first class rail ticket, companies can buy a conference phone and pocket the rest of the travel budget. Panasonic, like Polycom, Konftel and ClearOne, know this and are busy making hay.
  
  The Panasonic KX-NT700 is an IP conference phone and delivers a high level of sound quality whilst also being designed to be set-up quickly and easily ? so even the boss can do it. It is intended to be used as an integrated home networking solution for premium residences and small businesses with less than 40 extensions.
  
  The KX-NT700 features High-Definition sound to ensure that multiple participants can join in a conversation without compromising the sound quality. This ensures that businesses not only save on hotel and travel costs, but still enjoy the feeling of a live meeting .. without the rubbish coffee.
  
  The KX-NT700 phone features Panasonic?s noise-reduction technology, which helps to reduce annoying background sounds.
